Unlike all other software, you don't have to step through a lengthy installation wizard to begin using Fingerprints. When you run the executable, you will immediately be presented with the Fingerprints Installation Manager as shown in Image 1. The Fingerprints Installation Manager is used to install/uninstall the monitoring software and access the activity logs.

As an example, lets say that you have reason to believe that your child is using the Internet inappropriately. Armed with a copy of Fingerprints on disk, you walk into your child's room, insert the disk, run Fingerprints, click "Install", exit Fingerprints, eject the disk, and walk out of the room, all in less than 15 seconds. Later, you return with the disk, run Fingerprints, copy all the log files to the disk, exit Fingerprints, eject the disk, and walk back out of the room, again in a matter of seconds. You now have rock-solid proof of your child's computer activity. Yes, it's that easy!

Unless you inform the users of the computer, they will have no idea that their actions are being monitored. There are no suspicious windows, application shortcuts, or system tray icons that may alert the user. In fact, only 300 kilobytes of data are copied to the computer during installation! Compare that to 10 megabytes or more consumed by other monitoring software, which makes them much more easily detectable.

To erase all traces of Fingerprints, simply launch the Fingerprints Installation Manager and click the "Uninstall" button. This will immediately delete all embedded monitoring software along with all recorded activity.
