ProScan Hardware Overview

At a minimum, you will need the following hardware to use ProScan:

• The appropriate electrical interface for your vehicle (VPW, PWM, ISO, etc).
  • The interface must use a ELM32x microcontroller.
• OBD-II interface cable.
  • Connects the vehicle to the electrical interface.
• Serial interface cable.
  • Connects the electrical interface to the computer's serial port.
